On Tuesday, Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker, in her role as vice-chair of the Mayors Alliance to End Childhood Hunger, granted Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) $10,000 to advance the goal of eradicating childhood hunger in the city by expanding Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Ready to Learn in-school market program at two Fort Worth ISD elementary schools.
