“I am committed to the Mayors Alliance To End Childhood Hunger because they’re our today and our future,” said Mayor Michael Padilla. “Hungry children aren’t able to learn and grow normally, and we have over 75,000 hungry kids in our region. We must come together as a community to feed our future leaders and address the reality of food insecurity amongst youth. I am proud of the work that local organizations like Harvesters do every day to address hunger in our community and I am committed to joining them and mayors across the country in this effort to end childhood hunger.”
