“As one of America’s densest cities, with many of our residents living in poverty, the City of Central Falls is continuously seeking ways to address food insecurity, a challenge that impacts the outcomes of our school students and the wellbeing of families in all of our neighborhoods. As Mayor, I am committed to the Mayor’s Alliance to End Childhood Hunger to spotlight this important issue, and work toward a future where no child is left hungry. From working to launch our first one-stop community center that will support the needs of residents, including connection to food resources, to continuously partnering with local organizations like the Elisha Project to bring food donations and meals to our youth and families, we continue to prioritize the needs of our city.”
