Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome has been named chair of the Mayors Alliance to End Childhood Hunger, a nonpartisan coalition working in partnership with the national nonprofit Share Our Strength and No Kid Hungry campaign.
Mayor Broome was an inaugural member of the Alliance, launched in 2022, and takes on the chair position for 2024.
