Right now, our cities urgently need an extension of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s waiver authority over the child nutrition programs through the 2022-2023 school year. We have urged Congress to work with your Administration to find a solution to extend these critical child nutrition waivers and ensure that ending childhood hunger is a national priority.
