“As a mom, a former teacher, and the Mayor of Norwalk, Connecticut, I believe that no child should go hungry. Children and communities can only grow and thrive when they have the tools and resources to be strong and healthy, including access to nourishing foods. We are fortunate to have incredible partners working together in the Norwalk Food Alliance to expand capacity and connect families to local resources, but we also need strong policies that support those agencies on the ground and the families they serve. I’m proud to join my fellow mayors to take collective action to end childhood hunger.”
