“As a Mayor in a county that many of our kids live in poverty fighting childhood hunger is a daily battle. During COVID I started the Miami Good Neighbor Project we feed not only children, but their families. We fed kids and their families from 4 different states with nothing but volunteers and donations. We ended up feeding a little over 1,000,000 people in a 4 month length of time.”
