“I am committed to the Mayor’s Alliance’s efforts to ending child hunger because no child should ever have to worry about where their next meal will come from. Through initiatives like ‘Kindness for Kids’ our partnership with the National Strategy on Health, Hunger, and Nutrition, and our partnership with our local Community Dining Program. We are taking concrete steps to ensure that every child and resident in East Haven has access to nutritious food. My hope is that working together with communities across the country, we can make a lasting impact and create a future where hunger is a thing of the past.” I proud that that my administration has had the chance to initiate and be involved in programs like these.”
