“I believe that no child should go to bed hungry. As leaders, we must ensure that every child has access to nutritious food. The Mayors Alliance to End Childhood Hunger represents a critical coalition in the fight against child hunger, and I am dedicated to working alongside my fellow mayors to create sustainable solutions that improve food security. As the City Council and I work together to support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County and the Orange County Food Bank, we are not just addressing the immediate needs of our most vulnerable neighbors, we are building a brighter future for all of Orange County. The City of Irvine continues to prioritize initiatives that bridge gaps, foster unity, and ensure everyone has dignified access to nutritious food.”
