As the Mayor of Ottumwa and being located in a very impoverished area of the State, it is imperative for everyone to do whatever they can to ensure that no child ever has to go hungry in their community. Childhood hunger can only be eradicated if everyone, including Food Banks, Food Pantry’s, Schools, Local Officials, State Officials, and Federal Officials all work together in a collaborative effort to make it happen.”
