“Ending childhood hunger is deeply connected to my faith. Scripture teaches us that God gave humanity stewardship and dominion over the land and living creatures, and that the earth provides plants and herbs for nourishment and healing. I believe we have a responsibility to care for what God has entrusted to us and to make sure our children have access to fresh, nutritious food that allows them to grow, learn, and thrive. This work is about feeding children today while also teaching future generations how to care for the land, support local farmers, and build healthier communities.”
