“I’m committed to ending child hunger because in our community, access to food isn’t guaranteed—it’s a daily challenge. We don’t have a grocery store in town, and there’s only one for the entire county. For many families, getting there requires transportation they don’t have, and even when they do, rising food and fuel costs make it hard to afford what they need—especially fresh fruits and vegetables.
Our community needs more than temporary solutions—we need a local grocery store with affordable prices and delivery options so families can consistently access healthy food. Until that happens, too many children are left without what they need to grow and thrive. That’s why this work matters to me—it’s not abstract, it’s real, and it’s happening every day.”
