Due to the considerable interest in the Mayors Alliance’s Mayors Action Fund grant pool, we are pleased to announce a new grant pool with a focus on family economic mobility.
The Mayors Advancing Economic Mobility grant opportunity is a national grant pool that will support Mayors and municipal governments in their efforts to reduce child poverty and strengthen family economic stability in their communities. This grant opportunity has two funding pathways to choose from:
- Municipal Child Tax Credit Planning – This funding pathway supports planning initiatives that assess the feasibility, design, and implementation pathways for establishing a local Child Tax Credit.
- Economic Mobility Coaching – This funding pathway supports municipal planning efforts to plan the implementation of LIFT’s Economic Mobility Coaching model. You can learn more about this model with the LIFT team at our information session on April 7 from 1:30 – 2:30 pm ET. Register here.
Only members of the Mayors Alliance are eligible to apply.
This is an opportunity for Mayors to shape the future of family economic mobility policy, locally and nationally.
